During the regularly scheduled 9:00a.m. Mass two Sundays per month, children in Kindergarten through 4th Grade who are attending Mass, are given the opportunity to participate in the Liturgy of the Word for Children.  After the opening prayer, the children are dismissed and go to the daily chapel until the conclusion of the General Intercessions.  

The Liturgy of the Word for Children allows the children of the Parish to join together and share the Sunday Readings, the Profession of Faith, and General Intercessions on their own level.  It provides them with the opportunity to learn and grow in their faith during Sunday Mass.    

The Liturgy of the word for Children is facilitated by teams of one or two dedicated parishioners who are willing the share their faith with the Children of the Parish.  The parishioners who facilitate the Liturgy of the word for Children are provided background materials to assist in preparation.
