The Sacrament of Reconciliation/Penance (Confession) is celebrated every Saturday from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM. The Reconciliation Room is located within the Daily Chapel at the Church of St. Theresa. When celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation the penitent is given the option of being face- to-face with the confessor or from behind a screened partition.
Several times during the year the parish will celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation communally. These opportunities will be announced in the weekly parish bulletin. Communal celebrations are usually conducted during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
Children of the parish celebrate their First Confession before their First Communion. Preparation for the Sacrament of Penance is part of the curriculum of the parish The Children’s Faith Formation Program.
The Sacrament of the Sick (The Anointing) is intended to spiritually and physically strengthen those who are sick. Advanced age, any serious illness, chronic pain, and loss of confidence, extended hospital stay, depression, addiction, anything that threatens your life the way it is or should be, is sufficient reason for administering the sacrament.
If you are scheduled for a hospital surgery or procedure, please contact the Parish Administrative Offices during scheduled office hours prior to your hospital stay. If you would like to receive the Sacrament of the Sick at any other time, contact the Parish Administrative Offices during scheduled office hours.
If a member of the Parish is experiencing an emergency outside of scheduled office hours, they should call the Priest’s Emergency Line at (609) 857-3676.
The Sacrament of the Sick is sometimes offered communally. Announcements will be made in the weekly parish bulletin.
All home-bound parishioners who wish to receive the Holy Eucharist or the Sacrament of the Sick or receive a visit from a Eucharistic Minister or Deacon or Priest, should contact the Parish Administrative Offices during scheduled office hours.
